Susan Carlson is a 6-time Emmy winner who has racked up numerous accolades during her more than two decades as a news anchor and reporter in Chicago. She has interviewed celebrities, U.S. Senators, and the POTUS, all while maintaining impeccable presence and poise, often on live TV and with no script. She has emceed multiple charity and civic events in her many years as a public persona.

Susan wasn't always at ease in public settings and on camera. But she learned to conquer her fears and acquire the necessary skills to achieve great success.

Her passion now lies in helping corporate clients enhance their own speaking and media abilities and watching them reap the benefits that result in their professional and personal lives.

Susan has been teaching higher education for many years while also working in the broadcast industry, offering classes in public speaking, broadcasting, media writing, journalism, and public relations. She has worked as a communication professor at Loyola University, Benedictine University, and Trinity Christian College. That background in teaching, combined with her media savvy, makes her the perfect coach. 

She offers specific instruction in both messaging and delivery. She can help anyone funnel their fears into a better performance. Additionally, she passes along these vital skills with enthusiasm and compassion.
